For example, in industrial settings where the machine should travel significant distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the versatility and benefits of a diesel fueled generator with a 48 Volt DC machine.

There are jib boom models on the market to function with an additional working range for particular tasks. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform that rotates 90 degrees to either side.
