Narrow aisle lift trucks work by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the width of the aisle. Yale features the double reach NDR and the single reach NR units for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has different stance and control handle configurations and apply best-in-class ergonomics.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To be able to meet a wider range of operations, there are many control handle configurations like the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology provides fast lifting speeds along with powerful acceleration and deceleration. It has been manufactured for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of cargo moved in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the mast rigidity and durability; along with the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life and the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: To greatly enhance the overall throughput and production, Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and uploading speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a great function which maintains lower oil operating temperature whilst reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and hence really reduces energy. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the steer effort is actually technician adjustable in order to decrease operator exhaustion. In the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: The narrow aisle trucks and the very narrow aisle trucks are also known as order pickers. These machines are made for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the operator and the load to its required height. This height can be more than 30 feet. Similar with the majority of turret trucks they are generally rail or wire guided when used in very narrow aisle applications.
