Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklifts offer versatility and height. These units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to raise the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Regular forklifts aren't able to move the cargo towards and away from the forklift cab, whereas a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually used in agriculture and construction. It is better for applications where greater control and lift is necessary.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are recommended in cases needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to apply uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It comes with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specially to raise employees. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a chain or strap that is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
