Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production ever since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more accurate placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides a lot more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide a large range of optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete all your needs, whilst being safe and efficient at the worksite. When precision and accuracy are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you require.
The Future
Many attachments have been designed and developed in order to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages enable the forklift to position materials in a more accurate manner. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures so as to position loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being engineered and developed all the time and will debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. For example, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to know the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the extension of the boom and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
