On the market today, there is a huge variety of articulating lifts, with numerous styles of lifts to fit every application, circumstance and work place. There are some manufacturers who specify in lifts for dangerous environments including underground tunnel situations, petro-chemical plants, and other locations where there is a risk of dust or explosive gases, for example in grain-processing plants.



Other lifts have been designed particularly to mount onto large flatbed trucks or onto the back of pickup trucks or onto trailers. There are models which incorporate articulating booms that could be self-propelled and are controlled by the lift operator, whereas others could pivot 360 degrees.



There are lift models designed specially for outdoor and indoor application, and come in 4-wheel and 2-wheel powered models. In several cases, the platforms are adjustable and several kinds of lifts have baskets where the worker stands. These platforms or baskets are adjustable and enable the employees to remain level or swing into location, depending on what the operator needs to complete the job. There are several platforms and baskets which come wired so as to allow the operator to plug tools in as required.

Reconditioning Process
