Narrow Aisle Forklift
Utilized to both lower and lift loaded pallets from storage spaces that are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This particular kind is recommended for work places with narrow spaces between aisles, such as retail establishments or warehouses. The forklift has solid rubber, small tires which make maneuvering easy.
Generally, the operator of this particular kind of forklift stands up in a small cockpit. The stand-up design allows the narrow aisle forklift to be as narrow ans short as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift normally has three tires: one in the rear, and two in the front. This design allows for fast and easy maneuvering. There are several versions of these forklifts that are available with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment can pivot to the sides, allowing the lift to be operated without the operator having to move the whole equipment. The sit-down model usually has four wheels.
Numerous narrow aisle forklifts are powered by an electric engine. Electric-powered machines are not noisy and do not make exhaust fumes, making them the suitable alternative for closed places like for example retail spaces. Several lifts come with a diesel engine or a gas engine. Nonetheless, the diesel version is not suggested for indoor application as it can produce exhaust and be noisy.
