Types
Clark makes a range of forklift trucks such as narrow aisles, pneumatic trucks and cushion trucks. The various types vary when it comes to the way they are powered. Narrow aisle models designed for use in warehouses and other confined spaces run on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks varies according to the type. Forklifts that are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, which depends on the kind. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion or IC types are recommended. They can lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks operate on AC battery cells, either 48 volt or 36 volt. The internal combustion or IC engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion types have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed kinds.
Frame/Cab
The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and consists of overhead protective cover for the operator, controls and the seat. The frame consist of the fuel tank, engine, transmission, trans-axle and wheels.
